California Winter League to Host “Across the Aisle Day” Featuring 2026 Gubernatorial Candidates
Palm Springs, Calif. - The California Winter League (CWL) is proud to announce “Across the Aisle Day,” a unique non-partisan event scheduled for Saturday, January 24th, at historic Palm Springs Stadium. The event will feature two prominent 2026 California Gubernatorial candidates: Chad Bianco (R) and Ian Calderon (D).
The afternoon’s festivities will be moderated by special guest emcee Tim O’Brien of NBC Palm Springs. The ceremonial first pitch is scheduled for 12:20 PM, leading into a 12:30 PM matchup between the Canada A’s and the Palm Springs Power.
“Across the Aisle Day” offers Palm Springs and Coachella Valley residents a rare opportunity to engage directly with leading gubernatorial candidates in a relaxed, community-focused environment. Attendees will have the chance to hear from both candidates regarding their platforms and policies on the most pressing challenges facing Californians today.
Throughout the game, both candidates will host informational booths within the stadium, providing campaign materials and opportunities for one-on-one interaction with voters.
