Educational Excellence: “The Garys’ at 30” and “Blind Pinot Noir Tasting”
Seminars Define the Festival’s Scholarly Edge

Palm Springs, CA — [November 1st, 2025] — Beyond indulgence, Passion 4 Pinot Palm Springs is
renowned for its depth of education and discovery. This year’s featured seminars — “The Garys’ at 30”
and “The Blind Pinot Noir Tasting” — invite guests to engage with some of the most iconic figures and
vineyards in California Pinot Noir.

“The Garys’ at 30” marks three decades since childhood friends Gary Franscioni and Gary Pisoni
planted their namesake vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Today, the vineyard stands as a benchmark
for California Pinot Noir — celebrated for its elegance, intensity, and authenticity. The seminar brings
together members of both families, along with the winemakers behind ROAR, Lucia, and Pisoni Wines,
for a rare tasting retrospective that traces 30 years of legacy and evolution.

Meanwhile, “The Blind Pinot Noir Tasting” challenges even the most discerning palates. Guided by an
expert panel of sommeliers and winemakers, guests will explore a curated flight of Pinot Noir from across
California and Oregon — tasting without preconception to uncover the nuances of terroir, winemaking
style, and varietal expression.

“These seminars elevate the festival beyond celebration — they transform it into a master class,” says
Festival Founder David Fraschetti. “It’s where passion meets precision.”

Tickets for both seminars are extremely limited. Secure your seat at
